Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya

B.G 2.07

कार्पण्यदोषोपहतस्वभावः पृच्छामि त्वां धर्मसम्मूढचेताः। यच्छ्रेयः स्यान्निश्चितं ब्रूहि तन्मे शिष्यस्तेऽहं शाधि मां त्वां प्रपन्नम् ॥ २-७॥

kārpaṇyadōṣōpahatasvabhāvaḥ pr̥cchāmi tvāṁ dharmasammūḍhacētāḥ। yacchrēyaḥ syānniścitaṁ brūhi tanmē śiṣyastē'haṁ śādhi māṁ tvāṁ prapannam ॥ 2-7॥

[kārpaṇyadōṣōpahatasvabhāvaḥ = My essential nature is overpowered by defect; pr̥cchāmi tvā = I ask you; dharmasammūḍhacētāḥ = my mind is confused as to what is Dharma with weak heart; yacchrēyaḥ = what is good; syānniścitaṁ brūhi = Tell me decisively; tanmēśiṣyastē'haṁ = I am your disciple; śādhi = command me; māṁ tvāṁ prapannam = I seek refuge in you;]

A faint heart has overpowered my essential nature and has confused my mind as to what is Dharma. Tell me conclusively, what is good for me. I am your disciple, command me. I seek refuge in you.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
