Gīta Bhāshya 17.02
The faith of those ignorant of scriptures is explained starting from the 'trividhā' verse.
अतो विभज्याह- त्रिविधेत्यादिना ॥२॥
ato vibhajyāha- trividh etyādinā ॥2॥
[अतः (ataḥ) - therefore; विभज्य (vibhajya) - dividing; आह (āha) - said; त्रिविध (trividha) - threefold; इति (iti) - thus; आदिन (ādina) - beginning with;]
Therefore (the faith of those ignorant of scriptures), he explained by dividing into three categories, starting with 'trividhā' verse.
