B.G 2.53
श्रुतिविप्रतिपन्ना ते यदा स्थास्यति निश्चला। समाधावचला बुद्धिस्तदा योगमवाप्स्यसि ॥२-५३॥
śrutivipratipannā te yadā sthāsyati niścalā। samādhāvacalā buddhis tadā yogam avāpsyasi ॥2-53॥
[श्रुति-विप्रतिपन्ना (śruti-vipratipannā) - confused by conflicting scriptures; ते (te) - your; यदा (yadā) - when; स्थास्यति (sthāsyati) - will stand; निश्चला (niścalā) - steady; समाधौ (samādhau) - in concentration; अचला (acalā) - unmoving; बुद्धिः (buddhiḥ) - intellect; तदा (tadā) - then; योगम् (yogam) - yoga; अवाप्स्यसि (avāpsyasi) - you will attain;]
(When your mind, which has been confused by conflicting teachings, becomes unwavering and firmly established in meditation, then you will attain yoga.)
Gīta Bhāshya 2.53
When the intellect grasps the certain knowledge of Vēdas decisively, the mind becomes unwavering and attains Yōga.
तदेव स्पष्टयति - श्रुतिविप्रतिपन्नेति।
tadeva spaṣṭayati - śrutivipratipanneti।

पूर्वं श्रुतिभिः वेदैः विप्रतिपन्ना विरुद्धा सती यदा वेदार्थानुकूलेन तत्त्वनिश्चयेन विपरीतवाग्भिरपि निश्चला भवति, ततश्च समाधौ अचला, ब्रह्मप्रत्यक्षदर्शनेन भेरीताडनादावपि परमानन्दमग्नत्वात्, तदा योगं अवाप्स्यसि उपायसिद्धो भवसीत्यर्थः ॥५३॥
pūrvaṃ śrutibhiḥ vedaiḥ vipratipannā viruddhā satī yadā vedārthānukūlena tattvaniścayena viparītavāgbhirapi niścalā bhavati, tataśca samādhau acalā, brahmapratyakṣadarśanena bherītāḍanādāvapi paramānandamagntvāt, tadā yogaṃ avāpsyasi upāyasiddho bhavasītyarthaḥ ॥53॥

(When previously the mind was confused and opposed by the scriptures and the Vedas, but when, through ascertainment of truth in accordance with the meaning of the Vedas, it becomes unshaken even by contrary words, then it remains immovable in meditation. By direct perception of Brahman, even amidst disturbances like the beating of drums, due to absorption in supreme bliss, you will then attain union; that is, you become perfected in the means.)
'shruti' means Vedas. 'vipratipannā' means opposed to. When the knowledge that was previously opposed to Vedas comes to decisive understanding of its principles in line with the Vedas, in spite of statements that appear contradictory, then it becomes unwavering. From such wisdom, he obtains an equanimous state (smādhi) and becomes steady. In such a state, he is unaffected even by the beating of the drum as he is immersed in supreme bliss by direct perception of the Brahman. When such a practice is perfected, you will attain Yōga - is the meaning.
Gīta Tātparya 2.53
'śrutivipratipannā' - is a special grasp of Vēdic knowledge. From such knowledge, one gets an unwavering mind, and attains Yōga
"बुदि्धमोहो यदा न स्यात् अन्यथाज्ञानलक्षणः। श्रोतव्यश्रुतसाफल्यं तदा प्राप्नोति मानवः॥ श्रुतिमार्गं प्रपन्ना तु तदर्थज्ञाननिश्चला। समाधानेन तु पुनरापरोक्ष्याच्च निश्चला। विष्णौ प्राप्स्यति तद्योगं मुक्तो भूत्वा तदश्नुते॥"
"buddhimohō yadā na syāt anyathā-jñāna-lakṣaṇaḥ। śrotavyā-śruta-sāphalyaṃ tadā prāpnoti mānavaḥ॥ śruti-mārgaṃ prapannā tu tad-artha-jñāna-niścalā। samādhānena tu punar āparokṣyāc ca niścalā। viṣṇau prāpsyati tad-yogaṃ mukto bhūtvā tad-aśnute॥"
[बुदि्ध (buddhi) - intellect; मोहो (mohaḥ) - delusion; यदा (yadā) - when; न (na) - not; स्यात् (syāt) - is; अन्यथा (anyathā) - otherwise; अज्ञान (ajñāna) - ignorance; लक्षणः (lakṣaṇaḥ) - characterized; श्रोतव्य (śrotavya) - to be heard; श्रुत (śruta) - heard; साफल्यं (sāphalyaṃ) - fruitfulness; तदा (tadā) - then; प्राप्नोति (prāpnoti) - attains; मानवः (mānavaḥ) - human; श्रुतिमार्गं (śruti-mārgaṃ) - path of the scriptures; प्रपन्ना (prapannā) - having taken refuge; तु (tu) - but; तदर्थ (tad-artha) - for that purpose; ज्ञान (jñāna) - knowledge; निश्चला (niścalā) - steady; समाधानेन (samādhānena) - by concentration; पुनः (punaḥ) - again; अपरोक्ष्यात् (āparokṣyāt) - from direct experience; च (ca) - and; निश्चला (niścalā) - steady; विष्णौ (viṣṇau) - in Viṣṇu; प्राप्स्यति (prāpsyati) - will attain; तद्योगं (tad-yogaṃ) - that union; मुक्तः (muktaḥ) - liberated; भूत्वा (bhūtvā) - having become; तदश्नुते (tad-aśnute) - enjoys that;]
(When a person's intellect is free from delusion, which is otherwise marked by ignorance, then he attains the true benefit of both what is to be heard and what has been heard. One who has taken refuge in the path of the scriptures, remaining steady in knowledge for that purpose, and again, through concentration and direct experience, remains unwavering. Such a liberated person attains union with Viṣṇu and enjoys that supreme state.)
"Delusion of intelligence is characterized by ignorance. The man, by taking refuge in the path of hearing Vēdas, obtains certain knowledge. From it having equanimity, again he grasps the unwavering transcendental. From practice of such a Yōga he obtains lord Vishnu, becomes liberated, and experiences joy."
