Chapter Ten - Avanaḥ śrīpati (चतुर्थोध्यायः - अवनः श्रीपति)
अवनः श्रीपतिरप्रतिरधिकेशादिभवादे। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१॥
Protect us, Lord of Śrī—unequalled and supreme, source of Īśa and the others, primal one. Compassion-filled giver of boons, reveal to me your… (1)

सुरवन्द्याधिप सद्वर भरिताशेषगुणालम्। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥२॥
O lord revered by the gods, noblest one, fully endowed with every virtue, full of compassion and giver of boons, make your… known to me. (2)

सकलध्वान्तविनाशक परमानन्दसुधाहो। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥३॥
Ah, destroyer of all darkness and nectar of supreme bliss, full of compassion and bestower of boons, make what is yours known to me. (3)

त्रिजगत्पोत सदार्चितचरणाशापतिधातो। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥४॥
O boat for the three worlds, whose feet are always worshipped, creator of the lords of the directions, full of compassion and granter of boons, make known to me your… (4)

त्रिगुणातीत विधारक परितो देहि सुभक्तिम्। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥५॥
O transcender of the three qualities, O sustainer, grant excellent devotion in full. O compassionate giver of boons, make yourself known to me. (5)

शरणं कारणभावन भव मे तात सदालम्। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥६॥
O creator of causes, Father, be my ever-sufficient refuge. O compassion-filled giver of boons, make yourself known to me. (6)

मरणप्राणद पालक जगदीशाव सुभक्तिम्। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥७॥
O giver of death and life, protector and Lord of the world, protect me. O compassionate giver of boons, teach me true devotion to you. (7)

तरुणादित्यसवर्णकचरणाब्जामलकीर्ते। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥८॥
O you whose lotus feet have the hue of the young sun, O one of spotless fame, compassionate giver of boons, reveal yourself to me. (8)

सलिलप्रोत्थसरागकमणिवर्णोच्चनखादे। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥९॥
O primordial one, whose prominent nails are the color of a red, water-born jewel, O compassion-filled granter of boons, make what is yours known to me. (9)

खजतूणीनिभपावनवरजङ्घमितशक्ते। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१०॥
O one of measured power, whose excellent, purifying shanks resemble a churning staff and a quiver, compassion-filled granter of boons, show me yours. (10)

इभहस्तप्रभशोभनपरमोरुस्थरमाले। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥११॥

असनोत्फुल्लसुपुष्पकसमवर्णावरणान्ते। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१२॥
O you whose garment’s hem matches the color of the lovely, full-blown flowers of the asana tree, compassionate granter of boons, make yours known to me. (12)

शतमोदोद्भवसुन्दरवरपद्मोत्थितनाभे। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१३॥
O you from whose navel has risen an exquisite lotus that gives rise to a hundred delights, compassionate giver of boons, make what is yours known to me… (13)

जगदागूहकपल्लवसमकुक्षे शरणादे। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१४॥
O giver of refuge, whose belly encloses the world and is like a tender shoot, O compassionate granter of boons, reveal to me what is yours. (14)

जगदम्बामलसुन्दरगृलवक्षोवरयोगिन्। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१५॥
O supreme yogin, united with the Mother of the World, with spotless, beautiful throat and chest, full of compassion and granter of boons, make your… known to me. (15)

दितिजान्तप्रद चक्रदरगदायुग्वरबाहो। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१६॥
O bringer of the Daityas’ end, splendid-armed bearer of the discus, conch, and mace, full of compassion and bestower of boons, make your … known to me. (16)

परमज्ञानमहानिधिवदनश्रीरमणेन्दो। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१७॥
O moonlike consort of Śrī, whose face is a great treasury of supreme knowledge, full of compassion and granter of boons, make yourself known to me. (17)

निखिलाघौघविनाशक परसौख्यप्रददृष्टे। करुणापूर्णवरप्रद ज्ञापय मे ते ॥१८॥
O destroyer of the entire flood of sins, whose gaze bestows supreme happiness, compassionate giver of boons, make known to me your… (18)

परमानन्दतीर्थमुनिराजो हरिगाथाम्। कृतावान्नित्यसुपूर्णैकपरमानन्दपदैषी ॥१९॥
The sage-king Paramānandatīrtha, seeking the state of eternal, wholly perfect, sole supreme bliss, composed the Harigāthā. (19)
