सन्ततं चिन्तयेनन्तमन्तकाले विशेषतः। नैवोदापुर्गृणन्तोन्तं यद्गुणानामजादयः ॥१२॥

santataṃ cintayen antam antakāle viśeṣataḥ। naiva udāpur gṛṇanto antaṃ yad guṇānām ajādayaḥ ॥12॥

[सन्ततं (santataṃ) - constantly; चिन्तयेत् (cintayet) - should contemplate; अन्तम् (antam) - the end; अन्तकाले (antakāle) - at the time of death; विशेषतः (viśeṣataḥ) - especially; न (na) - not; एव (eva) - indeed; उदापुर् (udāpur) - the Udāpur (a class of beings); गृणन्तः (gṛṇantaḥ) - reciting; अन्तम् (antam) - the end; यत् (yat) - which; गुणानाम् (guṇānām) - of the qualities; अजादयः (ajādayaḥ) - beginning with Aja (Brahmā) and others;]

(Constantly one should contemplate the end, especially at the time of death. Not even the Udāpur, reciting the end, which (is) of the qualities, beginning with Aja and others.)
