sarvadoṣojjhitaḥ tasmād bhagavān puruṣottamaḥ। uktā guṇāścāviruddhāstasya vedeṣu sarvaśaḥ ॥2-8॥
[सर्वदोष (sarva-doṣa) - all-faults; उज्जितः (ujjhitaḥ) - freed; removed; तस्मात् (tasmāt) - therefore; भगवान् (bhagavān) - the Lord; पुरुषोत्तमः (puruṣottamaḥ) - the Supreme Person; उक्ता (uktāḥ) - declared; गुणाः (guṇāḥ) - qualities; च (ca) - and; अविरुद्धाः (aviruddhāḥ) - not-opposed; harmonious; तस्य (tasya) - his; वेदेषु (vedeṣu) - in the Vedas; सर्वशः (sarvaśaḥ) - in all ways;]
Therefore, the Supreme Person, the Lord, is free from all faults. All his qualities, as declared in the Vedas, are harmonious and not opposed to each other. (2-8)
॥ इति द्वितीयोऽध्यायः॥
॥ iti dvitīyo'dhyāyaḥ॥
[इति (iti) - thus; द्वितीयः (dvitīyaḥ) - second; अध्यायः (adhyāyaḥ) - chapter;]
Thus ends the second chapter.
