वर्णानां देवतानां च नित्यत्वान्न क्रमः स्वतः। व्यक्तिक्रमं ब्रह्मबुद्धौ अपेक्ष्य क्रम उच्यते ॥२९॥
varṇānāṁ dēvatānāṁ ca nityatvānna kramaḥ svataḥ। vyaktikramaṁ brahmabuddhau apēkṣya krama ucyatē ॥29॥
[varṇānāṁ = alphabets; dēvatānāṁ = the forms of the gods; ca = or; nityatvānna = not, as they are ever existing; kramaḥ = order; svataḥ = on its own; vyaktikramaṁ = the order of the narration; brahmabuddhau = in the intellect of lord Brahma; apēkṣya krama = as it appears; ucyatē = so it is stated;]
The forms of the lord are not in the order of either alphabets, nor in the order of the forms, as they are ever existing on their own. The order of narration is said to be as it appeared to the intellect of lord Brahma.
