- Rukmiṇīśa Vijaya 01.01
śrīvedāntamahācalaṃ hi paritaḥ saṃyojya sūtrāhipam sadvātāgamapoṣitātmahṛdayaṃ tatpūrvapakṣāsuraiḥ| siddhāntoktisureśvaraiśca mathito yaḥ kṛṣṇaṭugdhāmbudhiḥ svīyānām amṛtaṃ prayacchati sa māṃ pāyād guṇodyunmaṇiḥ ॥1॥
May the shining jewel of virtue, the great mountain of Vedanta, encircled by the serpent of Sutra, whose heart is nourished by the pure winds of scripture, churned by the demons of opposing views and the gods of doctrinal statements, who gives the nectar of immortality to his own, protect me.

sacchāstroditavartmanā padam idaṃ dhyāyan madaṅkāṅkito manmantraṃ japa śāstrasampadam atho dāsyāmi bhāgyaiḥ saha. tattattvāny api bodhayāmi tad anu prāpyo mad aṅghrir bhaved ity āghoṣayatīva yaḥ karacayais taṃ vādivaktraṃ bhaje ॥2॥
Following the path shown by true scriptures, meditating on this state, marked by my lap, reciting my mantra, I will grant the wealth of the scriptures along with good fortune. I also teach those truths; after that, attaining my feet becomes possible—as if proclaiming this with folded hands, I worship that face of the teacher.

śreyaḥ hayamukhaṃ śrāvyakāvyamārgasamāptaye। sarāgayogipūgottastotratottravaśaṃ mahaḥ ॥3॥
May auspiciousness, in the form of the horse-faced deity, bring about the fulfillment of the path of audible poetry; may the splendor, controlled by the best group of passionate yogis through hymns and praises, prevail.

siñcannūpuraśobhipādakamalāṃ mandasmitaudyānmukhīm kāñcakṣīm kucabhārabhīruvilasanmadhyāṃ kvaṇatkaṅgaṇām| śambhvādyaiḥ parisevitāṃ sukavasanāṃ jāmbūnadālaṅkṛtām ambāṃ tāṃ praṇato'smi kṛṣṇaramaṇīṃ lambālakāṃ rukmiṇīm ॥4॥
I bow to Mother Rukmini, Krishna's beloved, with long hair, whose lotus feet shine with anklets, whose face blooms with gentle smiles, whose eyes are golden, whose slender waist glows beneath the weight of her breasts, whose bangles tinkle, who is served by Shiva and others, who is beautifully dressed and adorned with gold.

satsaṅgamānasa-sarovara-madhya-vartī kṛṣṇāṅghri-cāru-kamalārpita-citta-vṛttiḥ। śāstrāti-mañju-pada-rañjita-ramya-saṃsad-āsmā ka-hṛt-sarasīje'stu sa madhva-haṃsaḥ ॥5॥
May that Madhva-swan, who abides in the lake of the mind created by good company, whose thoughts are devoted to the beautiful lotus feet of Krishna, and who graces the lovely assembly with the sweet words of scripture, be born in the lotus of my heart.

tāṭaṅka-dvaya-śobhi-karṇa-yugalaṃ bhrājat-dayā-vīkṣaṇam pūrṇendu-dyuti vidruma-ādhara-rucā vyāmiśra-manda-smitam। īṣat-kuñcita-kuntalaṃ sa-tilakaṃ nāsa-ullasan-mauktikam bhūyāt kūrma-sadṛkṣa-karṇa-yugalaṃ vāṇī-mukhaṃ śreyase॥6॥
May the face of Vani (Sarasvati), adorned with earrings, shining with compassion, moon-like radiance, coral-red lips, a gentle smile, curly hair, a tilaka, and a pearl on the nose, bring you auspiciousness.
