Krishnāmruta Mahārnava

धर्मविभूषणः - प्रातर्हरिदिने लोकास्तिष्टध्वं चैकभोजनाः। अक्षर लवणास्सर्वे हविष्यान्न निषेविणः ॥२१८॥
अवनितल्पशयनाः प्रियासङ्गविवर्जिताः। स्मरध्वं देवदेवेशं पुराण पुरुषोत्तमं ॥२१९॥

Son of king Rugmângadha, Dharma Vidhûshana says: "O devotees! As tomorrow is 'êkadashi' don’t eat “kshâra” food items today. Have only the offered food once today. Abstaining from sex, sleeping on the ground, always remember the ancient one, the lord of Brahma and other Gods, the most superior among the Purushas, the Lord Hari."

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
