Krishnāmruta Mahārnava
Kri.M 202
व्कर्तुं साध्यं यदा नालं द्वादश्यदि्भस्तु पारयेत्। क्रतावल्पाशिवत् पश्चात् भुञ्जीतेत्यपरे जगुः ॥२०२॥
kartuṁ sādhyaṁ yadā nālaṁ dvādaśyadibhastu pārayēt। kratāvalpāśivat paścāt bhuñjītētyaparē jaguḥ ॥202॥
[kartuṁ = to do; sādhyaṁ = possible; yadā = if; nālaṁ = not excellently/with difficulty; dvādaśyadibhastu = begining of twelth day; pārayēt = to corss; kratāvalpāśivat = the way 'Yagna-purusha'; paścāt = later; bhuñjītētyaparē = eats, having water; jaguḥ = complete (the fast);]
If one cannot do a full fast, they can drink water and break the fast with lunch, similar to how the 'Yagna-purusha' drinks water first and eats food later after the sacrifice.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
