Krishnāmruta Mahārnava
Preface
Srimad Ānandathērtha was a 12th century saint who re-established the Vēdānta doctrine of 'tatvavāda', the doctrine based on realism and theism. His 'tatvavāda' philosophy is mostly famous as 'Dvaita', the Dualistic Vēdānta. He is usually referred to as Madhvāchārya, however his signature in many of his writings refers to him as "Srimad Ānandathērtha Bhagavad Pādāchārya".
"Krishnarnamrita Maharnava" is a collection of verses from Pancharatra Āgama, compiled by Sri Madhvāchārya. Focus in these verses is to develop uninterrupted devotion towards lord Vishnu for committed devotees, especially those who get initiated in 'Vaishnavism'. It glorifies the lord and also touches on rituals and practices to be undertaken by devotees, and how they must be performed in alignment with the supremacy of lord Vishnu, and not othervise. The major tenets touched by the verses are highlighted, while listing the verses. This will help the user to jump to specific sections on need basis.
