Karmanirṇayaḥ (कर्मनिर्णयः))
1. The auspicious invocation (मङ्गलाचारणम्)
Om. Homage to him who is always worshipped with sacrifices by those headed by Vidhi, Īśāna, and Śakra—to Ramā’s loving consort, the enjoyer of all sacrifices.
"He indeed adds the supplementary verses of the Mahānāmnī verses. This world is the first Mahānāmnī, the atmospheric world the second, and yonder world the third. This—the Ṣoḷaśin—is indeed composed from all the worlds. In that he adds the supplementary verses of the Mahānāmnī verses, he thereby constructs it from all the worlds themselves. He who knows thus prospers through the Ṣoḷaśin composed from all the worlds. aitarēyabrāhmaṇam 4/1/4/1"
