Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )
2.2.03
ऊर्ध्वं प्राणमुन्नयति अपानं प्रत्यगस्यति। मध्ये वामनमासीनं विश्वेदेवा उपासते ॥३॥
ūrdhvaṃ prāṇamunnayati apānaṃ pratyagasyati। madhye vāmanamāsīnaṃ viśvedevā upāsate ॥3॥
[ऊर्ध्वम् (ūrdhvam) - upwards; प्राणम् (prāṇam) - breath; उन्नयति (unnayati) - raises; अपानम् (apānam) - down-breath; प्रत्यगस्यति (pratyagasyati) - draws back; मध्ये (madhye) - in the middle; वामनम् (vāmanam) - dwarf; आसीनम् (āsīnam) - sitting; विश्वेदेवाः (viśvedevāḥ) - all gods; उपासते (upāsate) - worship;]
The breath is raised upwards and the down-breath is drawn back. In the centre sits the dwarf Lord Vāmana, worshipped by all the gods.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
