Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 8.24
अग्निर्ज्योतिरहः शुक्लः षण्मासा उत्तरायणम्। तत्र प्रयाता गच्छन्ति ब्रह्म ब्रह्मविदो जनाः ॥२४॥
agnirjyotirahaḥ śuklaḥ ṣaṇmāsā uttarāyaṇam। tatra prayātā gacchanti brahma brahmavido janāḥ ॥24॥
[अग्निः (agniḥ) - Fire; ज्योतिः (jyotiḥ) - Light; अहः (ahaḥ) - Day; शुक्लः (śuklaḥ) - The bright (fortnight); षण्मासाः (ṣaṇmāsāḥ) - Six months; उत्तरायणम् (uttarāyaṇam) - The northern solstice; तत्र (tatra) - these presiding deities; प्रयाताः (prayātāḥ) - Those who have departed; गच्छन्ति (gacchanti) - Go; ब्रह्म (brahma) - To Brahman; ब्रह्मविदः (brahmavidaḥ) - The knowers of Brahman; जनाः (janāḥ) - People;]
Those knowers of Brahman who depart honoured by the presiding deities of the Fire, the Radiance, the Day, the Bright fortnight, and the Six months of the northern solstice — go to Brahman.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
