yathaidhāṁsi samiddho'gnirbhasmasāt kurute'rjuna। jñānāgniḥ sarvakarmāṇi bhasmasāt kurute tathā ॥37॥
yatha = just as; edhāṁsi = fire wood; samiddhaḥ = ignited; agniḥ = by fire; bhasmasāt = into ashes; kurute = turns; arjuna = O Arjuna;। jñāna = knowledge; agniḥ = fire; sarva = all; karmāṇi = impressions of the deeds; bhasmasāt = into ashes; kurute = turns; tathā = likewise;]
Just as fire turns wood into ashes, likewise, the fire of knowledge burns all impressions of the deeds.
