Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 2.37
hato vā prāpsyasi svargaṁ jitvā vā bhokṣyase mahīm। tasmāduttiṣṭha kaunteya yuddhāya kr̥taniścayaḥ ॥2-37॥
O son of Kunti, If killed, you will attain heaven; if victorious, you will enjoy the earth. Therefore, rise, determined to fight.
Gīta Tātparya 2.37
Within the purview of one's own duty, 'swa-dharma', fighting for the right cause is always beneficial.
jitvā svargaṁ mahīṁ ca।
Being victorious, you will enjoy both heaven and rulership over earth.
"ye yuddhyante pradhaneṣu śūrāso ye tanutyajaḥ" iti śruteḥ॥

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
