Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 2.08
na hi prapaśyāmi mamāpanudyād yacchōkamucchōṣaṇamindriyāṇām। avāpya bhūmāvasapatnamr̥ddhaṁ rājyaṁ surāṇāmapi cādhipatyam ॥ 2-8॥
[na hi prapaśyāmi = I do not understand; mamāpanudyād = what will drive away; yacchōkamucchōṣaṇamindriyāṇām = my grief that withers my senses; avāpya = even if I should here obtain; bhūmāvasapatnamr̥ddhaṁ rājyaṁ = rich kingdom without any rival; surāṇāmapi cādhipatyam = even the rulership over Gods.]
I do not understand what will drive away my grief that withers my senses, a grief that must continue to haunt me, even if I should get a rich kingdom with no rival or even the rulership over gods.
