Gīta Bhāshya 8.08
'always absorbed in that state' is the Yoga to be practiced. 'divyaṁ puruṣaṁ' is that Lord who dwells in all the bodies of the beings. There is nothing that is not covered by Him, and there is nothing covering Him. 'Divya' (divine) is derived from the root 'div' meaning 'play'; Is associated with the play of creation and other cosmic activities.
sadā tadbhāvabhāvitatvaṁ spaṣṭayati - abhyāseti। abhyāsa eva yogaḥ abhyāsayogaḥ। divyaṁ puruṣaṁ puriśayaṁ pūrṇaṁ ca।
The phrase 'always absorbed in that state' from the previous verse is clarified in the current verse that starts with 'abhyāsa' (practice). Abhyāsa, i.e. practice itself, is yoga, hence called 'abhyāsayoga' (the discipline of practice). The 'divyaṁ puruṣaṁ' i.e. divine person, is He who dwells in the city, i.e. body and is complete in all aspects.
"sa vā ayaṁ puruṣaḥ sarvāsu pūrṣu puriśayo nainena kiñcanānāvr̥taṁ nainena kiñcanāsaṁvr̥tam॥"
"He, indeed, is the Supreme Person, dwelling in all the cities, i.e. bodies of every being. There is nothing that is not covered by Him, and there is nothing covering Him."
